thyssenkrupp Crankshaft Company in Danville, IL seeks a Maintenance Engineer to improve machining-line availability and efficiency. You will address downtime, plan preventive maintenance, and document repair work across production assets in a forging facility.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in CNC/machining maintenance with strong mechanical/electrical skills and experience reading schematics; willing to work off-shift. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical/Manufacturing Eng with 3–5 years maintaining CNC equipment.
• Associate’s Degree with 6–10 years in machining/CNC maintenance in manufacturing.
• Experience in a maintenance role in manufacturing.
• Ability to read mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair machining equipment; replace damaged components.
• Analyze downtime occurrences and plan preventative maintenance.
• Develop and maintain documentation for repairs and work instructions.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for downtime events.
• Support spare parts planning and maintain equipment maintenance plans.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and contribute to standard work instructions.
