Job summary

Hardee's in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the team, support the General Manager, and ensure guests receive outstanding service.

This full-time role emphasizes leading by example, coaching others, and maintaining high standards for quality, safety and cleanliness while driving sales and profitability.

As aShift Leader, you'll play a key role in leading the team, supporting the General Manager, and ensuring every guest receives outstanding service. You'll help create a positive work environment while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

Lead and motivate team members during your shift to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Support the General Manager with daily restaurant operations and team leadership.

Assist with training, coaching, and developing team members.

Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are followed.

Help achieve sales, labor, and profitability goals by controlling operating costs.

Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with ordering and product management.

Ensure proper cash handling and security procedures are followed.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment.

Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and health standards.

Assist with local store marketing initiatives and community engagement.

Complete required reports and maintain restaurant records in compliance with company standards.

Lead by example by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.

What We're Looking For

At least 6 months of restaurant or food service experience; supervisory experience is preferred.

Experience working in a fast-paced environment, including breakfast and drive-thru operations, is a plus.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.

Excellent customer service skills with a positive, guest-first attitude.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and continue developing leadership skills.

Basic computer and cash-handling skills.

Valid driver's license and ability to successfully pass a background screening.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
