Job summary

Ambrosia QSR in Lake Stevens, WA seeks a Shift Leader to oversee shifts, ensure guest satisfaction, coordinate the team, and execute restaurant initiatives. After certification, Shift Leaders manage assigned time periods, ensuring a high-quality guest experience while leading front-of-house during peak hours.

Proficiency across team member roles, leadership, and the ability to step in for the General Manager as needed are essential. Flexible schedule required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Train and develop staff by implementing established training plans and systems to achieve targeted goals.
• Ensure employees take required breaks and comply with minor work limitations as directed.
• Prevent team members from working when unfit for duty or ill.
• Report employee concerns to General Manager and HR.
• Deliver outstanding guest service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Conduct restaurant walkthroughs, engaging with guests to enhance experience.
• Uphold safety, sanitation, and Harassment/Discrimination policies.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards.
• Follow hygiene and food safety protocols, including frequent handwashing.
• Notify management if unable to work a scheduled shift.
• Oversee compliance with food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Ensure staff trained for promotions and limited-term opportunities.
• Monitor team interactions with guests using headset for coaching.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain daily food safety compliance and operational standards.
• Communicate effectively with General Manager and leadership.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and support front-of-house operations.
• Follow recipes and brand standards for all orders and desserts.
• Organize shift readiness and manage waste and prep to control costs.
• Use equipment and products correctly; report issues immediately.
• Enforce safety equipment usage; maintain secure work environment.
• Adhere to cash handling policies for accuracy and security.
