Job summary

Donuts of Rutland is hiring a Shift Leader for our Dunkin' team. You will coach Crew Members, set shift goals, assign tasks, and motivate the team to deliver a friendly guest experience while upholding Brand standards and safety protocols.

Join a fast-paced, community-focused environment where you help drive guest satisfaction, manage cash over/short, and ensure consistent product quality. This is a full-time role based in Vermont, with local franchise support and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English is required.
• Experience supervising restaurant staff or similar roles.
• Basic math and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum age of 18 and HS diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach Crew Members during shifts to meet Brand standards.
• Set goals, assign tasks and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain guest-first culture and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Drive sales goals and ensure proper cash handling and product standards.

We are looking for Shift Leaders to join our Dunkin' team!

Shift Leaders are responsible for coaching Crew Members throughout their shift to execute operational Brand standards and deliver a great and friendly guest experience. They set goals, provide job assignments, and motivate others, celebrating successes and providing timely feedback.

Responsibilities:

Team Environment:

• Support a respectful team environment
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results with team members
• Support the training of crew members as requested
• Provide coaching and feedback to crew members

Operational Excellence:

• Create and maintain a guest first culture in the restaurant
• Resolve guest issues
• Ensure Brand standards, recipes, and systems are executed
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety and sanitation guidelines; comply with local and state laws

Profitability:

• Drive sales goals and results
• Execute restaurant standards and marketing initiatives
• Manage cash over/short during shift
• Ensure all products are prepared according to Brand standards

Skills and Qualifications:

• Fluent in English
• Restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience
• Math and writing skills
• Basic computer skills
• At least 18 years of age (where applicable)
• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
