Papa John’s International is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and work areas, ensuring high quality products and excellent customer service while supporting restaurant profitability.

You will manage operations, enforce company policies, and ensure compliance with laws and ethical practices. The role requires leading a team, coordinating stations, and maintaining product quality and safety.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
  • Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
  • Successful and stable employment history.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), including nights, weekends and emergencies.
  • Ability to perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Job Summary

The Shift Leader supervises shifts and/or work areas in the operation of a Papa John’s restaurant to ensure high quality products and customer service are delivered to ensure restaurant profitability. Other responsibilities include the management of operations including the execution of all Company policies, procedures, programs and systems. Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and ethical business practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adheres to guidelines, techniques and expectations for each station including, but not limited to, dough management,accuracyand proper portioning. Performs assignedwork stationduties such as making quality products, follows all productpreparationsproceduresandmaintainsestablished product holding times.

  • Consistently contributes to achieving the Company’s product goal.Commitsto meeting the needs and expectations of the restaurant’s customers, minimizes customercomplaintsand responds appropriately to customer needs. Follows all policies and procedures as outlined in our TM handbook including, but not limited to, image (including car topper for delivery drivers), attendance,safetyand security.

  • Exemplifies andexhibitsthe Core Values,maintainsa positive attitude, works well with others and is flexible and adaptable to change.

  • Ensures adequate shift coverage forrestaurant. Provides immediate feedback and corrects problems whenidentified. Maintains product quality, customer service, and performance responsibilities (such as MCE readiness, food/labor costs, restaurant cleanliness, etc.) within acceptable standards,followsall policies and procedures related to shift management.

  • Contribute to profit goals by ensuring they stay within company guidelines and target goals by accuratelyutilizingthe FOCUS System. Execute cash management duties. Assistin the management of adequate inventorylevelsusing the company’s systems and guidelines to minimize loss.

Education, Experience & Certifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred

  • Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred

  • Previousrestaurant shift lead experience preferred

  • Successful and stable employment history

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must be able to work long hours (32+ hoursgenerally required), scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights,

  • weekends, and as emergencies arise
