Job summary

Einstein Bros. Bagels is hiring a Shift Leader to motivate the team and ensure a great guest experience in our Arvada, CO location. You will open/close the store, coach staff, and maintain quality and safety standards, while delivering friendly service.

The role offers a flexible schedule with opportunities for growth. Must be 18+, pass background checks, and possess ServSafe certification or obtain it during training. Driver's license is a plus at certain sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours including early hours and weekends.
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable.
• Must have ServSafe Certification prior to leadership training.
• Driver's license preferred or required at specific locations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience.
• Open and close the store with minimal supervision.
• Maintain quality of food and beverages and ensure a safe, clean store environment.
• Provide feedback and coaching to team members as needed to uphold standards.
• Rise through the ranks from Shift Leader to higher management as opportunities arise.

Join our team! We are looking for a Shift Leader! Our Shift Leaders are like the cream cheese on the bagel. The bagel is delicious on its own, but the cream cheese adds a LOT of flavor and helps hold it all together! What’s a day in the life of a Shift Leader? Our Shift Leaders collaborate directly with the General Manager to help motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience.

We empower Shift Leaders to take charge and set the morale and tone of the team. They provide feedback and coach team members when needed. Shift Leaders open and close the store with little to no supervision. Our teams take pride in ensuring the quality of the food and beverages we serve; and by keeping a safe and clean store environment.

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver's license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
• *Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.
• **Additional benefits eligibility is subject to position guidelines at time of hire.
