Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking a Shift Leader to guide guests toward healthier choices and to support team members in the store when the GM isn’t present.

The role requires reliable, friendly individuals with experience in a restaurant or retail setting, plus basic computer and POS skills. Expect a flexible schedule and employee discounts as part of the benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience as a team member in a restaurant or retail customer service setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic POS usage.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Blend and prepare smoothies and assist guests in product selection.
• Greet guests and provide friendly service to meet their needs.
• Prepares fruits, vegetables, powders, and liquids for orders.
• Handle opening/closing duties and store tasks.
• Assist in team member management during shifts.
• Maintain cash handling, inventory, and store duties.
• Promote Smoothie King culture and values.

As a brand ambassador, Shift Leaders will help our guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by assisting them to help select smoothies and retail products that inspire them to live a healthy and active lifestyle! A Shift Leader will also provide guidance to team members when the General Manager is not in the store. The successful shift leader will be passionate about the brand and demonstrate willingness to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Blends delicious tasting smoothies.
• Ensures Guest's purpose is met when smoothies are ordered.
• Greets and engages the Guest to provide a friendly experience
• Properly preps all fruits, vegetables, frozen items, powders, and liquids.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Performs store checklist tasks.
• Shows up on time and ready to work.
• Lives and promotes the culture, values, and mission of Smoothie King
• Assists in Team Member management throughout shifts.
• Fulfills cash handling, inventory, and open/closing store assignments.

Essential Functions:

• Minimum 1 years of experience as a team member in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business.
• Microsoft Office knowledge required.
• Knowledgeable of general POS functionality.
• Excellent Communication Skills, ability to give and receive feedback.
• Must be extremely reliable
