Job description

As a Shift Leader at our TSU store located at 111 E Hopkins St, San Marcos TX 78666, you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to “Own the Night” by predicting the flow of business and leading your team effectively. Your hands-on leadership should include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and customer interaction. Taking pride in your leadership helps ensure a productive and enjoyable night for your store.

WHAT WILL I DO AS A SHIFT LEADER?

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products throughout the guest experience
• Support store operations by maintaining efficiency, communicating relevant information, and training team members
• Delegate tasks such as baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the team
• Work alongside the Cookie Crew
• Ensure a safe, clean environment and adhere to food safety practices
• Manage cash handling and deposits

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience with Point of Sale systems
• Strong communication, time management, and people skills
• Outgoing, friendly, and patient
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 or older
