Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels in Rapid City, SD is seeking a Shift Leader to help the General Manager motivate the team and ensure a great guest experience. You will open and close the store, coach teammates, and maintain food quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers a flexible schedule with no evenings or nights, opportunities for advancement, paid time off after 90 days, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours including early hours (as early as 3am) and weekends.
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Must possess or be able to acquire ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
• Possession of a current, valid driver’s license (preferred or required at specific locations).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team to deliver a great guest experience.
• Open and close the store with minimal supervision.
• Provide feedback and support to team members.
• Maintain food safety and store cleanliness.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on morale and operations.

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.
