Job summary

Far West Restaurant Group is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations and mentor team members. You will support the General Manager and Assistant Manager by leading shifts, coaching staff, and upholding high standards of service and safety.

The role emphasizes creating a positive guest experience, delivering timely orders, and training new team members while maintaining food safety and cleanliness across the shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant, retail, or leadership experience.
• Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Available to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.
• Monitor ticket times and help deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift changing responsibilities.
• Communicating restaurant needs and maintenance concerns management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the success of the restaurant.

SHIFT LEADER

Position Summary

As a Shift Leader at Far West Restaurant Group, you'll help lead daily restaurant operations while creating a positive experience for both guests and team members. What We're Looking For
