Job description

As a Shift Leader at our Old City store located at 31 S 2nd Street, Philadelphia PA 19106, you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to “Own the Night” by predicting the flow of business and leading a successful team. Your hands-on leadership should include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. You will also take pride in knowing that your leadership contributes to a productive and enjoyable night for the store.

WHAT WILL I DO AS A SHIFT LEADER?

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to guests
• Support store operations by maintaining smooth shift execution, communicating effectively, monitoring production, and coaching team members
• Delegate tasks related to baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning, while leading the Cookie Crew
• Support and collaborate with the Cookie Crew team
• Ensure a safe, clean environment for guests and staff, adhering to food safety standards
• Manage cash handling and deposits

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience with Point of Sale systems
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Outgoing, friendly, and patient demeanor
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 or older
