Job description

As a Shift Leader at our Madison WI store located at 462 State St, Madison WI 53703, you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to "Own the Night" by predicting the flow of business and leading a successful shift. Your hands-on leadership style includes building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. You will also take pride in knowing that your leadership as an Insomniac contributes to a productive and fun night for your store!

WHAT WILL I DO AS A SHIFT LEADER?

  • Provide excellent customer service and quality products to all guests throughout their experience
  • Support store operations during your shift by maintaining communication, monitoring production efficiency, ensuring team accountability, and assisting in training and coaching team members
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for guests and staff, adhering to food safety practices
  • Manage cash handling and deposits

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role
  • Experience with Point of Sale systems
  • Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate others
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older
