The Shift Leader is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the coffeehouse in partnership with the General Manager or the Assistant General Manager. The Shift Leader makes sure the team has a clear understanding of brand standards, expectations, products, cleanliness, new directives, and Guest connections during the shift.
Required: At least 6 months of experience in a leadership role, or properly trained and approved to take on Shift Leader responsibilities. To support the needs of the business and the team, Shift Leaders are expected to maintain flexible availability. While hiring may be based on current scheduling needs, Shift Leaders may be required to work different days, times, or shifts as business and operational needs change. Must be at least 18 years of age. Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
