Job summary

Oberweis Dairy is seeking a Shift Leader/Key Holder for our ice cream shop in Elgin, AL. You’ll be the right-hand to the Store Manager, leading our scoop squad, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering smiles to customers.

The role requires 18+ with availability 3–5 days including nights and weekends, a high-energy, positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Come join our fun team.

About the Role

We’re looking for a high-energy, people-loving Shift Leader/Key Holder (Must be at least 18 years old and available to work 3-5 days, including nights and weekends) to help lead our ice cream shop to sweet success! You’ll be the right-hand hero to the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, keeping operations smooth, customers happy, and the vibes as fun as our flavors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and support our scoop squad
• Delivering amazing customer service
• Manage shifts (opening or closing) and daily operations
• Keep the shop clean, stocked, and running smoothly

Physical Requirements

• Carry up to 50lbs
• Stand and walk on a hard surface for 5-8 hours per day
• Tolerate up to 45 minutes in a walk-in cooler at temperature as low as 32 degrees F during inventory
• Tolerate up to 35 minutes in a walk-in Freezer at temperature at -10 degrees F during inventory and stocking
