Job summary

GDLP Restaurant Group in Denver is seeking a proactive Shift Leader to guide daily restaurant operations and deliver exceptional guest service. You will coach team members, maintain food safety, and lead by example to foster a positive shift culture while supporting management.

You will be responsible for ensuring timely order delivery, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding safety and cash-handling procedures. This role prepares you for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant/retail/leadership experience required.
• Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead shifts and coach team members.
• Willing to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.
• Monitor ticket times and help deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift changing responsibilities.
• Communicating restaurant needs and maintenance concerns management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the success of the restaurant.

SHIFT LEADER

Position Summary

As a Shift Leader at GDLP Restaurant Group, you'll help lead daily restaurant operations while creating a positive experience for both guests and team members. You'll support the General Manager and Assistant Manager by leading shifts, coaching team members, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring every guest receives exceptional service. This is an important leadership role that prepares you for future growth within our company.

What We're Looking For

• Positive attitude and leadership mindset
