Job description

As a Shift Leader at our Dayton University store located at 6 Oakwood Avenue, you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to "Own the Night" by predicting the flow of business and leading a successful shift. Your hands-on leadership includes building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. You will also take pride in knowing that your leadership as an Insomniac contributes to a productive and enjoyable night for your store!

What Will I Do as a Shift Leader?
  • Provide excellent customer service and quality products to all guests during their visit
  • Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating relevant information, monitoring production efficiency, ensuring team adherence to standards, and assisting in training and coaching team members
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for guests and staff, following safe food handling practices
  • Manage cash handling and deposits
Desired Skills/Experience:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role
  • Experience with Point of Sale systems
  • Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate others
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older
