Job description

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a specific shift designated by the General Manager while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations.

  1. Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, and any other applicable regulations required for legal operation.
  2. Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  3. Ensure the profitability of the business by managing shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.
  4. Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness, while embracing the Firehouse Subs culture, mission, and vision.
  5. Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing current operational plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner.
  6. Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
  7. Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on schedule.
  8. Actively participate in all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  9. Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times.
  10. Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner regarding any issues impacting the business.
  11. Ability to work on their feet for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
  12. Perform any other duties assigned by the GM/Owner.
