Job summary

Coffee & Bagel Brands is seeking a Shift Leader to join our Brentwood, TN location. You will collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience, empowering shifts to set the tone, provide guidance, and coach team members.

You will open and close with minimal supervision, upholding food and beverage quality while keeping the store safe and clean. Irregular hours, including early mornings and weekends, are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days including early hours (as early as 3am) and weekends.
• Must pass background check.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification prior to leadership training completion.
• Possession of a current, valid state driver's license is preferred, and required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience.
• Empower Shift Leaders to set team morale and tone; provide feedback and coaching as needed.
• Open and close the store with little supervision while maintaining safety and cleanliness of the store.
• Ensure quality of food and beverages served and maintain a safe, clean environment.

What’s a day in the life of a Shift Leader? Our Shift Leaders collaborate directly with the General Manager to help motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience. We empower Shift Leaders to take charge and set the morale and tone of the team. They provide feedback and coach team members when needed. Shift Leaders open and close the store with little to no supervision. Our teams take pride in ensuring the quality of the food and beverages we serve; and by keeping a safe and clean store environment.

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy *Tip eligibility subject to state regulations. **Additional benefits eligibility is subject to position guidelines at time of hire.
