Job summary

Firehouse Subs in Austin, TX is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the team through busy shifts, support operations, and ensure every guest leaves happy. This role offers growth in leadership within a fast-paced, people-first environment.

You’ll lead the team, coach Crew Members, ensure compliance, manage scheduling and inventory, and drive sales while keeping the restaurant clean, safe, and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in food service or retail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Positive, professional appearance and attitude.
• Open availability 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM; full‑time hours (30–40 hrs/week).
• Ability to be on your feet for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during assigned shifts, ensuring top‑tier service and food quality
• Coach, train, and motivate Crew Members to uphold Firehouse Subs standards
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (health, labor, safety, etc.)
• Support General Manager with operational tasks, scheduling, inventory, and shift execution
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness, safety, and efficiency at all times
• Help manage food/labor costs and drive sales growth
• Communicate effectively with team and management
• Represent Firehouse Subs with professionalism and positivity
