Job summary

Einstein Bros. Bagels in Plymouth, MI is seeking a Shift Leader to help drive a great guest experience alongside the General Manager.

You will motivate the team, coach colleagues, and take charge during opening and closing shifts while upholding quality and a safe, clean store environment. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to work varied hours including early shifts and weekends.
• ServSafe Certification preferred or required prior to leadership training.
• Must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license when location requires it.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the GM to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience.
• Provide feedback and coach team members as needed.
• Open and close the store with minimal supervision.
• Maintain food quality and a safe, clean store environment.
• Grow in leadership and advance toward higher roles.

We empower Shift Leaders to take charge and set the morale and tone of the team. They provide feedback and coach team members when needed. Shift Leaders open and close the store with little to no supervision. Our teams take pride in ensuring the quality of the food and beverages we serve; and by keeping a safe and clean store environment. What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.
• Additional benefits eligibility is subject to position guidelines at time of hire.
