Job summary

Smoothie King in Akron is seeking a Shift Leader to help guests meet fitness and nutrition goals by guiding smoothie and retail product selections. You will lead during GM absence, uphold brand values, and mentor team members. The role requires passion for the brand and readiness to tackle new challenges.

Responsibilities include blending, guest engagement, opening/closing duties, POS use, cash handling, and inventory tasks. Flexible scheduling and employee discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years of experience as a team member in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business.
• Microsoft Office knowledge required.
• Knowledgeable of general POS functionality.
• Excellent Communication Skills, ability to give and receive feedback.
• Must be extremely reliable.

• Ensures Guest’s purpose is met when smoothies are ordered.
• Greets and engages the Guest to provide a friendly experience
• Properly preps all fruits, vegetables, frozen items, powders, and liquids.

• Shows up on time and ready to work.
• Lives and promotes the culture, values, and mission of Smoothie King
• Assists in Team Member management throughout shifts.
• Fulfills cash handling, inventory, and open/closing store assignments.

A Shift Leader will also provide guidance to team members when the General Manager is not in the store.
