Job summary

Anchor Point Management Group in Molalla, OR is seeking a Shift Leader. This hourly role provides management coverage during operating hours, supervises staff, drives customer service, and maintains cleanliness, safety, and quality standards.

The Shift Leader may close the restaurant and occasionally open when others are unavailable. You will train team members, respond to guest needs, and model professional behavior to ensure fast, accurate service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Preference for internal promotions with completed training.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role.
• Legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accurately take orders.
• Prepare and package food and drinks per standards.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide change.
• Maintain cleanliness of front of house, back of house, lobby, and restrooms.
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and policies.
• Promote new menu items and provide recommendations.
• Assist with opening and closing tasks.
• Manage shifts to ensure fair employee treatment and compliance with workplace laws.
• Offer ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
• Address safety concerns and report issues to manager/HR.
• Conduct daily food safety and prep audits.
• Monitor cash procedures during shifts.

Salary Range: $15.46 - $17.00 hourly

Position Summary

The shift leader is an hourly position that provides additional management coverage of operating hours and direct supervision of operations. Focal points include driving customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, Hospitality, accuracy, building maintenance, product quality, and speed of service. The shift leader directly performs hands on operational work on an ongoing basis to assist in training employees, responding to guest service needs, and otherwise role model appropriate skills and behaviors in their restaurant. The shift leader may assume full responsibility for the closing of the restaurant and on occasion the opening of a restaurant when other management is unavailable. You will ensure that our food is served safely, provide consistent customer satisfaction, provide your team with a great restaurant to work, and operate each and every shift to standard at the restaurant

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and accurately take their orders.
• Prepare and package food and drink products according to restaurant standards.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide change to guests.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including back of house (the line), lobby, and restrooms.
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and policies.
• Promote new menu items and provide recommendations when asked.
• Assist with opening and closing tasks.
• Manage shifts to ensure fair employee treatment and compliance with workplace laws and regulations.
• Offers ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
• Assist with any safety concerns in the workplace.
• Reports any serious issues to their manager and HR as needed.
• Conducts food safety and prep audits daily.
• Conducts daily inventory monitors performance and shares responsibility for cash procedures.

Qualifications / Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• Strong preference for an internal promote who has completed all required learning zone training and certiications.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Possess a minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role, preferably in a service related business.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to work lexible hours.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Solid oral and written communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
• Comes to work with good hygiene.
• Has reliable transportation and able to arrive to work on time.
