Job summary

Club Demonstration Services is seeking a personable Shift Coordinator to support dynamic in-store demonstrations at our partner locations in Sterling, VA. You will help with daily store operations, assist with event setup, and ensure safety and product quality while engaging customers with education and enthusiasm.

No prior experience required as training is provided; you must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for several hours, and work 2–3 shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing interaction with customers and management.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Available to work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 6 hours.
• Comfortable preparing, cooking, and cleaning work area and equipment.
• Support demo events and ensure setup/removal of carts and supplies.
• Demonstrate product demonstrations and educate Costco members.
• Assist with food safety, sanitation and daily safety inspections.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills; safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations, including opening and closing operations for events.
• Support adherence to warehouse standards for safety, customer service, product quality, operations, and store cleanliness; serve as a role model and resource for other staff.
• As the Shift Coordinator, while performing breaks or events, influence the buyer's behavior through customer education, engagement, and enthusiastically promoting and demonstrating the product.
