Job summary

Panchero's Mexican Grill in Iowa City is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and supervise shifts of 3–10 team members. You will focus on quality, safety, and customer experience while maintaining strong cash handling and staff training practices.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will help ensure smooth service, manage guest interactions, and support promotions and staff development in a fast-paced, fun workplace.

• Leadership experience required.
• No educational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shifts of 3 to 10 employees.
• Monitor Quality, Safety, and Customer Experience.
• Customer Service Manager on Duty.
• Cash Handling and Reconciliations of cash drawers.
• Training of Staff Members for New Hires & Promotions.
• Other duties as assigned.
