Job summary

Murphy USA is hiring a part-time Shift Lead at our Dunnellon, FL location. You will assist the Store Manager, lead the team, and ensure a strong customer experience while managing cash handling and daily store operations.

The role requires 3+ months of cashier experience, a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Growth opportunities from Shift Lead to Assistant Manager can occur in as little as six months.

Qualifications

• Age requirements vary by state; generally 18+.
• Requires high school diploma or GED, or 6 months related experience.
• Minimum 3 months cashier experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Responding to and resolving customer’s requests and concerns.
• Operating cash register.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store’s performance goals and objectives.
• Performing job related duties as assigned.
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees.
