Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a Shift Supervisor in California to lead daily store operations with craft and heart, ensuring a welcoming space for customers and teammates.

You will supervise crew, coach beverage and food preparation to standard recipes, manage cash handling and safety, and coordinate tasks across teams while maintaining excellent service. This role emphasizes teamwork and growth within a supportive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and coordinating the tasks of two or more employees
• Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays
• Prepare and coach preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers
• Meet store operating policies and standards including quality beverages and food, cash handling, and safety

Responsibilities

• Direct and coach staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations
• Prepare beverages and food to standard recipes or customer specifications
• Manage cash handling, store safety, and security during shifts
• Coordinate tasks among two or more employees to meet customer demand
• Contribute to a welcoming, customer-focused store environment
• Uphold Starbucks standards and assist with onboarding and training as needed
