Job summary

Mo' Bettahs in Ogden, UT is seeking Shift Leads to support daily operations and lead the team when the GM or MIT is unavailable.

You'll assist with product prep and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, and staff coordination to ensure fast, accurate service and a great guest experience.

Position requires being capable of standing for long periods, while upholding company standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be authorized to work in US.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all duties of Team Members and lead the shift when GM/Manager in Training is absent.
• Help ensure compliance with company standards across product prep, delivery, customer relations and maintenance.
• Lead the team to provide fast, accurate service and a great guest experience.
• Support with staff coordination and shift management as required.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Shift Leads are trained to perform all the duties that Team Members do, with additional responsibility for ensuring a smooth-running shift. This is especially important in the absence of the General Manager or Manager in Training (MIT) - as they assume that leadership role. Assists with ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team management and other duties as required or assigned. Helps lead the team in giving our customers the best experience with fast and accurate service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be authorized to work in US
• Restaurant experience preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS

Position requires qualified individuals to be able to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time, be able to lift to 30 pounds, bend, stoop and kneel. May be required to work outside in various weather conditions. May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state. Must disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair or affect the ability to perform the job's essential functions. Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
