Job summary

HellermannTyton North America in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Focus Area Supervisor to oversee manufacturing personnel, production safety, and all floor activities, ensuring compliance with Quality and EHS certifications.

You will lead daily shift scheduling, coordinate changeovers, mentor staff, monitor performance metrics, uphold 5S standards, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced plastics injection molding environment. This role requires strong communication and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Forklift experience.
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing personnel and safety.
• Develop daily shift schedule and manage labor.
• Lead changeovers and production events.
• Monitor shift performance using metrics and reports.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Ensure PPE usage and safety compliance.
• Report incidents and deviations per company policy.
• Coordinate handoffs between shifts and communicate floor expectations.
