Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Quality Inspector in Bluffton, SC to inspect products and materials, ensure conformance to customer requirements, and document findings. You will support production with problem solving and maintain a safe, organized work area.

Responsibilities include end-of-line and incoming material inspections, communication of quality concerns, and input of data into systems. This role requires stamina to stand or sit for long periods and willingness to work various shifts.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is a must.
• Good attendance and safety record required.
• Ability to walk, stand or sit for 8+ hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on products at the end of lines, incoming materials and products according to procedures.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer requirement
• Communicate product quality concerns with supervisor
• Provide support to production supervision for problem solving
• Update supervisor with findings
• Record all information required by containment plans, process cards and sample procedures, and input into information systems or complete appropriate documents
• Maintain clean and safe work environment in line with company policies.
• Be able to work in manufacturing environment without distraction
• Availability to work any shift
• Ability to work overtime as required or needed
