Maryland Environmental Service is seeking a Shift Engineer (First Grade State of MD Stationary Engineer) for a Somerset County, MD facility. The role oversees the steam plant and performs maintenance during the shift to ensure continuous operation.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED plus 3 years in steam plant operations and a valid First Grade MD Stationary Engineer License; shift schedule is rotating 12-hour shifts.
Job Description: Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Shift Engineer (First Grade State of MD Stationary Engineer) located at our facility in Somerset County, MD. This position is a plant operator who will be in charge of the steam plant and provide maintenance as needed during their shift. Estimated Pay Range: $73,547.00 - $101,127.12.
