• Biblical qualifications of an overseer per 1 Timothy 3:1–7; sense of God’s call.

• Shepherd’s heart caring through prayer, visitation and pastoral care
• Passion for reaching the lost and discipling believers for the Gospel
• Leads with humility, integrity, and grace; teachable and unified
• Self-motivated, disciplined, initiative-driven for ministry

Responsibilities

• Faithfully preach and teach God’s Word, lead meaningful worship, and provide spiritual leadership for the congregation
• Shepherd the church through prayer, visitation, encouragement, biblical counsel, and discipleship, while equipping believers to serve Christ faithfully
• Actively engage the community, build relationships, and seek opportunities to share the Gospel and demonstrate Christ’s love
• With vision and initiative, help the church reach beyond its current congregation, welcome new people, and cultivate an environment where the church can grow
• Work alongside church leadership and the congregation to prayerfully discern God’s direction, leading with wisdom, conviction, humility, and a servant’s heart
