Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Check incoming animals for health problems and injuries.
• Administer medications to sick animals as prescribed by a veterinarian.
• Sanitize cages, kennels, floors, walls, and treatment areas to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Assist in euthanasia of animals following safety protocols.
• Maintain and organize documents and records using automated systems.
• Perform daily health checks on impounded animals.
• Process euthanized animals for laboratory analysis and dispose of remains per health codes.
