Job Options, Inc. is seeking a part-time Shelf Stocker for commissary operations in the San Diego area. The role ensures shelves, coolers, and storage areas are replenished to DeCA standards and products are faced and rotated for freshness.
The candidate will stock merchandise, maintain a neat area, and support overall readiness for customers. Safety rules, reading and following instructions, and basic math are essential.
The Shelf Stocker is responsible for maintaining fully stocked, clean, and well-organized merchandisedisplays throughout the commissary. This position ensures shelves, coolers, and storage areas are replenished in a timely and accurate manner, with products faced, rotated, and presented accordingto DeCA standards. The Shelf Stocker supports overall store readiness by maintaining a neat, orderlyappearance and ensuring customers have consistent access to available products.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience in related field.
No prior experience or training needed for individuals with disabilities. One (1) year grocery store stocking experience preferred for non-disabled individuals.
Receive general oral and written instructions and assignments from supervisors orproject manager. Carry out assignments with independence. Work is regularly reviewed forsatisfactory performance. Ability to do basic mathematical calculations such as addition andsubtraction. Ability to read and/or comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, andmemos in English. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-stepinstructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variable.
