Job summary

United Mechanical, Inc. in Union City, CA is seeking a skilled CNC programmer to create flat-pattern sheetmetal layouts from drawings, generate G-code for CNC laser and turret presses, and setup travelers with precise manufacturing details.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years’ experience programming sheetmetal, proficiency in Fabriwin/AP100 or AutoCAD, and strong blueprint/BOM reading skills, plus ERP/MRP familiarity; a detail-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• At minimum, 2 years’ experience programming precision sheetmetal components.
• Proficiency in Fabriwin/AP100 or Equiv (AutoCAD, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and BOMs.
• Familiarity with an ERP/MRP system (Jobboss is a plus).
• Detail-oriented is a must. Communicate with engineers and customers as required.
