Muza Sheet Metal Company is growing and inviting applications for a Sheet Shop Laborer / Pre-Apprentice - 2nd Shift. No experience required—training and tools provided.

This role offers a path into our Apprenticeship Program with standard hours 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime. You'll assist journeymen, keep the shop orderly, support fabrication, operate company trucks, and help with loading, fueling, and vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or HSED required for Apprenticeship eligibility.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Sheet Metal experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sheet Metal Journeymen with daily tasks in the shop.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including routine daily upkeep.
• Support fabrication processes, including flashing and panel fabrication.
• Operate Muza company trucks as needed.
• Safely load, strap, and secure trailers for transport.
• Refuel and maintain company vehicles.
• Wash and detail company trucks and work vehicles regularly.
• Operate forklift (training and certification provided if not already certified).

This position offers the opportunity to transition into our long-standing, highly respected Apprenticeship Program. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
