Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Superintendent Sheet Metal to lead field crews, coordinate scheduling, and ensure safety and quality on sheet metal installations in our projects.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprint literacy, and experience managing diverse teams. You will interact with clients, attend project meetings, and report to operations leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with sheet metal lay-out and installation.
• Experience managing projects and personnel (1-5 years).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Physical demands include heavy lifting and safety-focused duties.

Responsibilities

• Direct others on work activities and organize scheduling of resources.
• Read complex blueprints and equipment packaging lists for assembly.
• Solve complex job-related problems or bring solutions to the project manager and/or director of operations.
• Liaison with client representatives.
• Attend all project meetings.
• Perform safety talks and keep check-in sheets.
• Maintain tool inspection reports.
• Submit employees’ time to the office.
• Perform performance reviews for employees on the project.
• Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.

• Direct others on work activities and organize scheduling of resources.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with sheet metal lay-out and installation.
• Must be able to work with variety of tools.
• Have 1-5 years of experience managing projects and personnel.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
• Physical Demands: Occasional sitting, frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing. Constant standing, walking, reaching and gripping. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to talk and hear. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting to 25 lbs., placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).
• Material Handling: lifting from floor level to overhead, with occasional lifting up to 115 lbs. frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. and constant lifting up to 25 lbs., placing the position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).

Work Environment:

Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working high exposure places.
