Job summary

Volunteer Sheet Metal in Nashville, TN is looking for a Sheet Metal Shop Laborer to join our hands-on team. This full-time position involves assisting with fabrication and preparation of sheet metal products in our shop.

Responsibilities include cutting, bending, forming, and assembling, loading materials, and helping fabricators with daily projects while maintaining a clean and safe work area. Training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Comfortable working on your feet and performing physical labor in hot and cold.
• Ability to lift and move materials.
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Good attendance and a positive attitude.
• No experience required—we are willing to train the right person.

Location: Nashville, TN
Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a Sheet Metal Shop Laborer to join our team. This is a hands-on position working in our shop assisting with the fabrication and preparation of sheet metal products.

• Assist with cutting, bending, forming, and assembling sheet metal
• Load and unload materials/trucks
• Operate basic shop tools and equipment
• Measure and mark materials accurately
• Assist sheet metal fabricators with daily projects

Qualifications

• Previous sheet metal, fabrication, construction, forklift experience and/or shop experience is a plus

Volunteer Sheet Metal is a locally owned and operated Commerical HVAC duct fabrication shop in Nashville, servicing Mechanical contractors Locally and out of state.

Located about 10 minutes south of downtown Nashville, we began operations just shy of 7 years ago and have grown rapidly, with many more years of growth to come. We are currently looking to add another person to our team!
