Job summary

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints or production drawings.
• Perform measurements to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain accuracy in measurements and outputs.
• Operate metal fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow daily production plans and quality checks.
• Communicate issues to team leads and supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates equipment to cut sheet metal per blueprints or specs.
• Reads prints, work orders, or schedules to determine specs.
• Performs periodic checks on output; measures parts for conformance.
• Uses measuring tools with high accuracy.
• Maintains productivity and meets daily goals.
• Performs daily preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Forklift operation is preferred but not required.
• Loads coils and prepares material for laser processing.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and assists with problem resolution.
