Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Journeyman License required.
• 3+ years as a Sheet Metal Worker Journeyman (5 years preferred).
• Criminal background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with little supervision.
• Plan, lay out, repair and install sheet metal products and parts.
• Take measurements according to blueprints.
• Interpret blueprints to fabricate, assemble and install sheet metal parts.
• Measure, mark dimensions and lay out material using hand tools.
• Fasten joints and seams with solder, welds, caulk, bolts and clips.
• Install HVAC ducts, flashing, gutters and furnace casings.
• Ensure safety and quality in fabrication and installation.
• Use hand and power tools to finish metal surfaces.
