Job summary

Midstate Mechanical LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Journeyman to join our Commercial HVAC team. You will fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork, read blueprints, and lay out systems with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 5 years proven commercial HVAC sheet metal experience as a Journeyman.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, submittals, and project documents.
• Perform layout and installation with limited supervision.
• Experience using sheet metal fabrication and welding equipment.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
• Must possess the tools necessary to perform the job.
• Forklift, scissor lift, boom lift, or similar certifications preferred.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install commercial sheet metal ductwork and HVAC components.

• Operate shears, brakes, welders, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs as required.
• Work with Foremen, Project Managers, and other trades to keep projects moving.
• Follow OSHA requirements and Midstate safety standards.
• Track materials and completed work.
• Help train and mentor apprentices and junior mechanics.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.

Sheet Metal Journeyman - Commercial HVAC

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Phoenix, AZ | Pay DOE

Pay & Benefits

Pay: $28.00-$38.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Minimum 40 hours per week
