Job summary

Trillium Staffing is seeking Sheet Metal Installers for a laboratory-space mechanical project near Burlington, MA, handling large-diameter, medium-pressure ductwork and smaller lab exhaust runs. Responsibilities include reading mechanical drawings, fabricating transitions, installing duct supports, and coordinating with other trades in tight lab spaces.

Qualifications require 5+ years of commercial/industrial sheet metal/ductwork installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, hang, and support rectangular and round ductwork including large trunk lines and small lab exhaust runs.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, ductwork shop drawings, and isometric layouts.
• Fabricate and fit transitions, elbows, offsets and fittings as needed in the field.
• Install duct supports, hangers, and seismic bracing per code and project specifications.
• Seal and tape joints/seams to meet SMACNA leakage requirements.
• Coordinate installation sequencing with other trades in tight lab ceilings/walls.
• Perform ductwork pressure testing and balance readiness.

Job description

Trillium Construction is seeking Sheet Metal Installers near Burlington, MA fora laboratory space mechanical project. Scope includes both large-diameter, medium-pressure ductwork and small-diameter, low-pressure ductwork systems typical of lab HVAC and exhaust applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, hang, and support rectangular and round sheet metal ductwork, including large medium-pressure trunk lines and smaller low-pressure branch/lab exhaust runs
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, ductwork shop drawings, and isometric layouts
• Fabricate and fit transitions, elbows, offsets, and fittings as needed in the field
• Install duct supports, hangers, and seismic bracing per code and project specifications
• Seal and tape joints/seams to meet SMACNA pressure-class leakage requirements
• Coordinate installation sequencing with other trades in tight lab ceiling/wall cavities
• Perform ductwork pressure testing and support balancing/TAB readiness

Pay: $32
Per Diem: $150 a day for all 7 days if the required schedule has been worked.
Schedule: Mon - Fri, occasional Sat, 40h+/week
