Job summary
Advanced Roofing, Inc is seeking a Full Time Craft Worker in Fort Lauderdale, FL to install metal roofing panels and related components on commercial projects. The candidate should have at least 1 year of sheet metal experience and be able to handle fabrication, installation, and fastenings on-site.
Responsibilities include selecting materials, setting up equipment, and securing panels with proper interlocks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- At least 1 year of sheet metal experience.
- Experience removing and replacing roof purlins.
- Experience installing PBR, R, and MBCI double loc (Trapezoid Panels) systems.
- Experience installing all components involved with Metal Buildings.
- Experience removing and installing Wall Panels and wall purlins.
- Experience in Metal Building construction.
Responsibilities
- Install metal roofing panels and components.
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment.
- Determine material or tool requirements.
- Set up production equipment or machinery.
- Secure metal panels in place and interlock joints.
- Fasten seams and joints together.
- Maneuver completed units into position for installation and anchor them.
