Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience.
• Ability to fabricate, install and repair sheet metal and HVAC components.
• Proficiency in welding, soldering, riveting.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow layouts/instructions.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal products by cutting metal according to blueprints.
• Forge metal by heating and hammering.
• Solder, rivet or weld metal to form articles.
• Install/repair sheet metal for HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Repair and maintain roofs, gutters, drains, motors, vehicles and snow removal equipment.
• Sharpen, temper and maintain tools to ensure optimum performance.
• Erect/repair scaffolding, rigging and ladders safely.
• Order materials and supplies; inspect buildings for repairs.
