You will work under supervision with Sheet Metal Mechanics, handling materials and tools on busy job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Assist sheet metal mechanics with installation of HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems.
  • Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and equipment on job sites.
  • Measure, cut, and prepare sheet metal materials under supervision.
  • Assist with installing ductwork, hangers, supports, dampers, and related components.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Assist with duct sealing, insulation, and system support installation.
  • Help maintain proper alignment and quality of installed duct systems.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and job site requirements.
  • Work with mechanics, foremen, and other trades to support project completion.
  • Assist with material handling, inventory, and job site logistics.
  • Complete assigned tasks within project schedules and productivity goals.
