Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Foreman Sheet Metal – Mechanical position in Charlotte, NC. The candidate will supervise layout, assembly and installation of sheet metal duct, coordinating crews from 2 to 15 workers and communicating with customers and project managers.

The role requires 5+ years of commercial sheet metal experience and 2+ years in a supervisory capacity, with strong HVAC knowledge and blueprint reading skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial mechanical sheet metal experience and 2 years supervisor experience
• Must be able to read blueprints and equipment packaging lists for assembly
• Must understand HVAC and ductwork installation including rectangular and round ductwork

Responsibilities

• Supervise the layout, assembly and installation of sheet metal duct
• Direct others on work activities and schedule resources
• Assess manpower and material needs for tasks
• Plan crew tasks and read blueprints for assembly
• Coordinate with customers and subcontractors
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed
