Job summary

Server Products Inc. in Richfield, WI, is seeking an entry-level Fabrication Operator to support sheet metal fabrication operations in accordance with engineering specs.

You will prepare materials, set up equipment, read blueprints, and help meet production and quality goals while maintaining a safe, 5S workplace and reporting labor and scrap in ERP.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, 1–2 years metal fabrication experience, good math, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years metal fabrication experience.
• Broad knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Proficient reading of blueprints and use of basic measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work using SOPs, blueprints, and Product Structure list; gather parts and tools.
• Set-up and operate sheet metal fabricating equipment.
• Report labor time, production quantities, inventory movements and scrap in ERP.
• Meet/exceed production and quality goals.
• Provide fact-based solutions for quality and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe and clean 5S workplace.
• Use measuring instruments as part of trades practice.
• Keep equipment operational and report malfunctions or repairs needed.
• Perform duties and responsibilities as required.
• Value coworkers and their capabilities.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and internal teams.
