Job summary

LECO Corporation in Saint Joseph, MI is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator-II for regular full-time hours on first shift. You will fabricate sheet metal parts used in production and prototypes, inspect parts, and record data per the quality plan.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, using precision tools, and operating CNC Laser and CNC Press Brake among other processes. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with 4+ years of fabrication experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Reads engineering drawings, routers, and precision measuring tools.
• Owns or is willing to purchase necessary tools of the trade.
• Perform manufacturing processes including CNC Laser, CNC Press Brake, Fastener Insertion, Spot Welding, MIG/TIG Welding, and Machine Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• React to out-of-control conditions per the LECO Quality Management Plan.
• Initiate action to prevent product non-conformity.
• Identify and record product quality problems and verify solutions.
• Control processing and delivery of non-conforming product until corrected.
• Inspect manufactured parts and enter related data.
