Architectural Fabrication in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Sheet Metal Helper to support the sheet metal department from preparation to finish. You will measure, cut, and shape metal parts, interpret blueprints, and operate fabricating equipment in a fast-paced shop.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to PPE protocols while contributing to production goals. Entry-level candidates with a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; prior sheet metal shop experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and the use of measuring tools.
• Willingness and ability to obtain OSHA 10 and Forklift Operator certifications.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow detailed directions.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using hand tools or power shears.
• Safely handle, sort, and stack materials.
• Interpret blueprints and layouts to ensure accurate assembly.
• Operate fabricating machines including shears, brakes, presses, and forming rolls.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and PPE compliance.
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment.
• Follow all company policies regarding attendance, safety, and ethics.
