Job summary

Estes Design and Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Press Brake Operator to review prints, set up presses, and run sheet metal parts in a safe, high-quality manner. You will team with others to meet production schedules, troubleshoot issues, and maintain orderly, compliant production spaces.

You will handle tool offsets, verify tolerances, and document work within our ISO 9001 framework while following our Health and Safety Program and OSHA PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use software to maintain production records.
• Ability to read drawings with tolerances and notes.
• Recognize sheet metal types, gauges, finishes.
• Use measuring instruments such as digital calipers after training.
• Prior experience setting up and operating press brakes.
• Working knowledge of sheet metal types and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and execute work instructions, prints, and work orders for each job.
• Set up CNC press brakes to meet job requirements and part specifications.
• Operate press brakes to run production efficiently and safely.
• Assist teammates with setups and operational questions as needed.
• Operate additional production equipment when required.
• Maximize throughput of quality sheet metal parts in line with the production schedule.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to fabrication methods that elevate quality and profitability.
• Identify and communicate maintenance concerns as they arise.
• Provide timely information to other departments to keep projects on track.
• Comply with Health and Safety Program and wear required PPE.
• Complete projects within the ISO 9001 Quality System framework.
• Demonstrate a professional demeanor consistently.
