Job summary

M&M Manufacturing, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking an assembler to build wall and roof sheet metal panels and install HVAC components. The role involves following plans, aligning parts, and using hand tools on a structural floor system.

You will read engineering drawings, prepare materials, and assemble units with hoists or cranes, ensuring conformance to specs. This on-site position offers exposure to a broad manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Read engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and task sequences.
• Position, align and trim parts using jigs and hand tools.
• Move parts into position with hoist or crane and assemble units.

Responsibilities

• Position, align and trim parts to form complete units or subunits, following plans and layout specifications, and using jigs and hand tools.
• Check that parts conform to specifications, using a ruler and measuring tape.
• Arrange and examine stocks of metals or parts to be processed to ensure that specifications are met.
• Align and adjust parts to specification, using grips, turnbuckles, shims, bars, and hammers.
• Read engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and task sequences.
• Move parts into position, manually or with hoist or crane.
• Hammer and grind parts to shape, cut, bend, and straighten metal.
• Install coils, fans, filters, sound attenuators, interior walls, exterior walls, roofs, and other components.
• Use ladders, stepladders and lifting platforms to assemble units.Other responsibilities as assigned.
